Since the last two years I'be been an owner of two
adult mice – Mysia- Pysia and Gryzusia. Mysia is white fured albino
mouse with little upturned ears and a lovely tail. Gryzia is an opposite
of Mysia's appearance – she's got dark grey short fur with white spots
on her thorax and head, a little mellow long tail and... No ears- she is allergic to spruce needles sawdust and she has bitten them off. It
doesn't matter because she is totally adorable and sweet and we love
her regardless that fact. Both of our pets have tiny paws with tiny
claws. When mice sleep, Mysia puts her head next to Gryzia's tail and
Gryzia puts her head next to Mysia's tail and then they look as a
ying-yang sign.
My pets live in a big glass aquarium
located on a commode in my hall (it's quite dark and mice like darkness).
They have to be fed with special mice food (sunflowers seeds etc.) once a
day. I leave one little bowl of water and food for them every evening.
We also give them extra snacks - dried bread, rusks and mascarpone
cheese. They're more active at night than in the day – Gryzia and Mysia
often run in their spinning-wheel making funny ( for longer time
annoying) noise that wakes up me in the middle of the night. We wash
their aguarium, little house and other accesories once a week – if you
don't do that, the stink is all over flat!!! We also change the
sawdust then.
Here is the photo of Mysia-Pysia. We
haven't got any pics of Gryzia, cause she's extremely shy and cowardly.
She and Mysia are veeery different – they're unique.
